I finally realized that your going to be
That special someone but not for me
I can imagine you with the biggest smile
As you look at him coming down the aisle
You deserve to have a wonderful life
I always knew you’d make an amazing wife
All the times I pictured you oh so happy
I just didn’t know that it would be without me
I should of been more clear when I made that wish
Because All I Said Is I wish for her happiness
Kinda thought that I would be a part of it
I guess I should of been a lot more specific
Be Careful what you wish for it might come true
You may get that wished and won’t include you
I wish I’d of wished, my wish for me and you
If I knew that wish would have come true.
By Gary Agurries
Well written.
This twist; All the times I pictured you oh so happy
I just didn’t know that it would be without me
Expands on the sadness potrayed though.

Yeah It has to be bitter sweet, if you really love someone you want them to be happy. But do want them to be happy with out you?

Its our nature to be within their happiness otherwise we’d feel excluded. Indeed, bitter-sweet
