Foolishly Hoping

I would have been anything you wanted me too

Little did I know I was already playing the part of a fool

You made me feel like you actually wanted me around

It was so funny to you , I must of look like a clown

Only wanted me when you wanted something from me

I was such a fool to think you actually think just maybe

That you and I could have a chance of being together

I should of know this would happen, I thought I knew better

I’m smarter than this, everyone else had seen it coming

Thought I seen something in you I guess I was foolishly Hoping.
