Live The Dream

You would think we have advanced as human beings like our technology. 

There is so much hate in this world and it does bother me.

People that don’t like others race, sexual orientation, or what they believe

What happened to getting to know someone for who they are, then you’ll  see

Every race, religion, color or creed has someone who is not a good person.

And then the propaganda of protesting to cause harm makes thing worse and 

The ones who are trying to bring light to the situation are overshadowed by destruction 

And we as people watch this and forget why all of this originally happened

We need to think, know your neighbor and know who you are

Don’t refuse to listen and close your mind, open up your heart.

Work together for a better tomorrow, we have come so far 

I can’t see ever hating someone so much I’d want to cause them harm.

We instinctively know how to love we have to learn hate

It’s like when you try something new and not sure how it’s going to taste

If you didn’t give it a try you maybe missed out on one of your favorites 

If you don’t know, get to know them before we decide to pass judgment 

 Not liking someone or something without really knowing is ignorance 

We need to make our own decisions and always give new things a chance

Coming up on a day of a great man who died for having a dream

Let’s all live the dream, for you, for future friends and for Dr. Martin Luther King.
